- Are a strategic thinker with a penchant for multi-tasking who is comfortable with ambiguity and thinking on your feet

**As part of the OPEN Health Scientific Communications team, you’ll be responsible for the following activities**:

- Partner with Divisional Leads to drive functional excellence across the Medical & Scientific Services teams, overseeing efficient delivery of high-quality outputs aligned with client strategic imperatives
- Provide strategic counsel across the scientific communications spectrum, including senior sponsorship of key accounts and hands-on delivery of high-profile projects, as required
- Provide and oversee effective line management and mentorship within the Medical & Scientific Services teams, supporting the career and personal development of assigned line reports and department members
- Support Divisional Leads in assessing the staffing and operational requirements to successfully execute existing and new business ventures and strategies
- Support new business strategy and implementation to drive growth of assigned clients/accounts in partnership with Divisional Leads and Global New Business teams
- Provide support on new business opportunities
- Stay abreast of innovation, market changes, and competitor landscape to continually assess the position of OPEN Health as a leader in our field and develop new service offerings in line with these insights/business direction
- Exemplify OPEN Health values and culture, exhibiting a positive and solutions-focused attitude and always conveying supportive and constructive behavior

**What you’ll bring**:

- Graduate in life sciences (ideally biomedical); higher degree preferred
- Previous experience in a medical communications agency or equivalent role essential
- Proven strategic thinking ability and experience
- Knowledge and insight across a broad range of communications activities
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams
- An analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
- Sound understanding of science, medicine, healthcare, and the pharma industry
- Strong communication skills (both internally and externally) and a proven track record of building lasting, trusted advisor relationships with clients
- A flexible, proactive approach with the ability to multi-task, adapt quickly to change, and work under pressure and to tight deadlines
