The Seeds of Change is a busy alternative provision, offering placements for clients. Sessions last between and 75mins to a full day, with more than 50 clients sessions each week.
Our mission: To assist the individual in the many spheres of personal development, growth and learning through the unique interaction that occurs between human and horse.
Our therapeutic and educational coaches support clients from as young as 5 years old, using Equine facilitated learning (EFL). We are looking for someone who embodies our core values and wants to share a passion for the outdoors and wildlife with others. This person will be able to demonstrate that they are a team player who is non-judgemental, accepting, empathetic, inspiring, authentic, flexible, resilient, accountable and can use their initiative. This can be a demanding but rewarding job role and good levels of personal resilience are required.
All TSoC staff need to be lifelong learners with a specific interest in mental health, wellbeing and developmental/learning/SEN support.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- 75% coaching - modelling the TSoC approach
- Designated Safeguarding Lead Level 2 including being the contact point for staff and referring bodies. (please see KCSIE for the full expectation and reach of this role)
- Input on timetable and coach assignment.
- Cover as required for coaching
- Providing feedback, updating and creating SOP’s for areas of work
- Planning sessions and feeding back to the commissioning body regarding sessions and outcomes.
- Competent handling of horses is essential.
- Preparing information regarding programmes and activities
- Provide support on creation of marketing materials including website and social media.
General duties:
- Use of OneDrive and Google Docs folders to access, track and share information.
- Use of Outlook to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- All staff have a duty of care towards all of the young people and are given regular safeguarding training.
- Any other duties as required.

- Working with therapy animals 1.1 and groups

**Hours**:Monday to Friday 9 to 4.30 Term time only
**Pay**:Between £27,000 and £31,000 per annum pro rata
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: £29,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
