**Salary**: £24,000 to £29,000 dependant on experience

Location: Hull

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm

My client is a specialist within the marine technology sector. With over a decade of success, they have cultivated an exceptional team of technology experts, and with their innovative and revolutionary work they have been recognised with industry awards.

They are now seeking to add to their team with a specialist position of Technical Project Support, this would be for an individual with an appreciation and interest in technology and to support an established team of project managers. You will be working in a fast-moving niche sector that specialises in a range of technologies, including AV, IT, communications and security.

This is an excellent opportunity for a person who has previous experience working in an engineering and / or project related roles in general.

As a Technical Project Support, you will be supporting internal project managers who will be dealing with key clients and overseeing projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for assisting the team which will require diligent task management and working to deadlines.

THE ROLE:
As Technical Project Support your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the project team with the documenting and tracking of project work and tasks.
- Assisting with report writing and formatting, ensuring delivery in an accurate and timely manner.
- Communicating technical concepts in a non-technical and easy to understand language and format.
- Minuting of meetings as and when required, for internal and client facing meetings.
- Creation of documentation and basic CAD drawings.

This is a full-time position, being primarily office based, with occasional travel around Europe for research purposes and onsite project support. Your working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applicants must:

- Have a qualification within Engineering
- Previous experience dealing with projects, in an administrative and / or technical support environment is desirable but not essential.
- Strong administrative skills including good verbal and written communication and the ability to support internal teams are essential.
- Excellent planning and organisational based skills.
- AutoCAD and Adobe Suite experience would be desirable but not essential. AutoCAD training can be provided to help assist with basic drawing tasks.
- You must have good problem-solving skills, the ability to ask questions, and flexibility to take on new tasks is essential.
- Industry experience in an engineering industry or similar would be an advantage.
- Your own transport is needed due to some external travel.
