**The post holder will**: Promote the involvement and engagement of service users and carers in service planning, developments and delivery with strategic leads, services and teams Promote the concept and encourage involvement and engagement toservice users and carers Identify new opportunities for service user and carer involvement and engagement To provide day to day line management and supervision to AssistantInvolvement Coordinators and any volunteers Provide an induction to service users and carers for their involvement activity Identify, and support access to any training required to undertakeinvolvement and engagement activity Utilise a variety of feedback methods to ensure that service users and carers have the opportunity to provide feedback on their experiences and views on proposals Use analytical skills to review service user and carer feedback to identify key themes and risks to support service developments Establish and maintain links with diverse groups to ensure that involvement reflects the diversity of the community the Borough serves Support leads, services and teams to capture and record the output from involvement and engagement activities Capture and record a summary of service developments made following engagement and involvement activity Be the local point of expertise for staff, service users and carers regarding involvement and engagement Populate and contribute to a Trust-wide central database of service users and carers who wish to be considered for involvement and engagement opportunities or are currently involved in activity Mediate in any matters of conflict arising from involvement activityPlan and facilitate meetings and involvement/engagement events Challenge inappropriate behavior General associated administrative duties. Project Management Work To have some responsibility for the planning, organisation, delivery and monitoring of projects which involve service users and carers To identify barriers to involvement and develop strategies to overcome such barriers To liaise with the staff of other departments and external organisations, in planning and implementing any new initiatives
