The Mer group is majority owned by Norwegian Statkraft, Europe’s largest renewable energy producer**.

As a part of Mer you will be working with enthusiastic, skilled and ambitious people who care about future generations. We're looking for a self-motivated, innovative and consultative sales professional to join our already successful team helping us achieve our goals for 2024 and beyond. The position is field based reporting into the National Sales Manager.

**Key activities will amongst others be**:

- Develop new relationships with prospective clients in order to drive revenue and growth
- Generate appointments, research and pre-planning to ensure the right target market
- Networking with and presenting at Senior Management to Board Level
- Acting as the liaison between customers and internal teams ensuring clients requirements are met
- Utilising your consultative approach to build a pipeline of opportunities
- Be self-motivated and used to working autonomously
- Achieving targets against an annual budget
- Prepare proposals and quotations from site surveys
- Host events at industry trade shows

**We think you have a profile like this**:

- Previous experience in developing brand new and lasting business relationships within both the public and the private sector
- Proven track record in meeting sales targets
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Can-do attitude
- Self-motivated
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a business development or national account management role
- Solid sales and customer service skills
- An affinity with new technology
- In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent verbal, written, analytical and organisational skills Ability to work well within a team in a fast paced environment
