Farming Labourer

**Farm Labourer, Kirton Ollerton**

- Are you good with power tools and general maintenance?

We are recruiting a Farm Labourer to join the team in Ollerton/Kirton in Kirton NG22 to help and support the current team in the general day to day maintenance on the farm.

You will be contracted to 45 hours a week working Monday to Friday 07:00-16:00 and a few hours on the weekends in the morning to assist with spreading hay and feed.

Payrate;
- £11.03ph for the first 40 hours and £12.60ph for the additional 5+ hours overtime.

What does this role involve?
- Provide general maintenance and labouring support across the farm site ie fixing fences, roofs, borders
- Lifting hay bailes and spreading feed.
- Controlling grass growth where necessary, operating handheld strimming machines and tractor mounted toppers
- Driving tractors and off-road forklifts to move equipment on site.

Please be aware animal contact is very mínimal within the role with the majority of the job being labouring and maintenance.
- Be comfortable working outdoors.
- Be self motivated with a strong work ethic
- Have a UK driving licence - the location is difficult to get to otherwise.
