**Client Details**

My client operate in the FMCG market, and requires someone with experience in logistics distribution and supply chain to join their team to help with further developments. They have multiple sites across the UK, and are one of the leading businesses withintheir market.

**Description**

Warehouse Manager - Stoke-on-Trent
- Supervise the DC Operatives throughout all warehouse management processes
- Support with the training of new team members and ongoing coaching of the DC
- Operatives raising skills gaps to the Operations Manager
- Supervise the picking process; prioritising workflow, customer collection times, VAS activity and resource availability
- Supervise the goods in process ensuring the relevant paperwork is completed in line with standard guidelines
- Support in the planning, unloading and loading of containers; booking in and organise resource
- Ensure awareness of the VAS activity (Value Added Service)
- Supervise the returns process ensuring the Warehouse Management System is updated accurately and in a timely manner
- Support the Operations Manager with the management of external providers
- Responsible for the ordering of consumables in agreement with the Operations Manager and departmental budgets
- Lead on the initial stages of performance and absence management such as; records of informal discussion and return to work interviews escalating concerns to the Operations Manager
- Ensure the health, safety, cleanliness and security of the work environment
- Promote a high level of morale, discipline and productivity with the department
- Ensure that Health and Safety guidelines are always followed, and that the team carry out their responsibilities
- Ensure housekeeping is maintained at the highest standard across the Distribution Centre

**Profile**

The successful Warehouse Manager for the Stoke-On-Trent depot witll have experience in:

- Managing a team
- Starting and conducting HR (return to work, annual leave, disciplinary meetings)
- Good understanding of WMS
- Operational experience within a warehouse
- Identifying and up-skilling staff

**Job Offer**
