This is a wonderful opportunity to be an Assistant Head Teacher for Looked After Children (those in care) and make a real difference to the lives of this vulnerable group of children in Enfield.

Your role
- To be responsible for the effectiveness and timeliness of Personal Education Plans for all looked after children through quality assurance and coordination liaising with Welfare Call to ensure completed plans are properly recorded and reported on and to develop and deliver training on Personal Education Plans to school staff and social workers and managers. To ensure the financial resources of the Pupil Premium Grant are allocated in the most cost-effective way
- To support education pathway planning for care leavers and provide advice and guidance for 16+ and PEPs of those up to age 18
- To be the lead for reducing exclusions and improving attendance
- To support, lead and strategically develop the Children in Care Council with management of the Engagement and Participation Officer
