'Hygienist/Therapist wanted to join our team in a family run private practice in Kendal, Cumbria - 1-2 days a week. (One of our therapists has moved to the wrong side of the Pennines)

We're a young, enthusiastic team with a focus on prevention, and both general and periodontal health.

You would be working with our current therapist and a dentist with a special interest in periodontics, providing preventative advice and motivation, as well as PMPR and maintenance for periodontally susceptible patients.

Shouldn't need to be said in 2024, but you'd have full nursing support, and minimum appointment time is 30mins. As far as kit is concerned - it looks like our practice has been sponsored by NSK with the Varios, Combi & electric motors etc.

Plenty of opportunity and encouragement to keep up to date, & develop your skills and understanding. We have team members regularly going to EuroPerio, BSP Conference and DentinalTubules conference (funded by the practice).

Whilst the role will have a focus on hygiene, there is the opportunity to develop your restorative skill-set if you wish. (A large proportion of our Class I & Vs are currently placed by a therapist). This can be done at your pace with both in-house mentoring, and other courses as appropriate.
