SDLMinorfern is looking for a Logistics Support to come and join us at our Chesterfield Branch. We are a respected and growing family business; known in our region as being a reputable and leading motor factor company - and we want you to join us

If you have experience in warehousing, managing and distributing stock, then this could be the role for you

Each working week consists of 45 hours, made up of 5 x 8.5-hour days Monday to Friday. Between the hours of 7.30 and 6.00pm which includes an additional 5 hours on every alternate Saturday in accordance with the rota. You are entitled to a meal break of 30 minutes.

**What will the role be?**

Organising the storage and distribution of goods.

**Main Purpose of Job**:Warehouse duties, picking, packing and cash handling along with delivery driving responsibilities.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- To pick and pack parts in an accurate and timely manner.
- Receive and check off incoming stock and materials.
- Stock Replenishment.
- Stock Taking.
- Use of Warehouse Management system.
- To perform other General warehouse duties.
- Making multiple deliveries to existing customers, in the most efficient way, using knowledge of the local area.
- Collecting cash daily from our existing customers, ensuring accuracy at all times.
- Returning unrequired products to the local branch, ensuring products are inspected and correct prior to returning - new, surcharge or warranty.
- Ensure we offer high quality customer service day in day out promoting the image and reputation of the company - Company Values
- Report any feedback / requirements from our customers to the Branch.
- Update all required paperwork on a daily basis.
- Support the sales targets of the branch with offers to the customers - POW, POM, Flash Deals

**Additional Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the company vehicle is kept in a clean, maintained & road legal condition.
- Keep the warehouse clean & tidy
- Maintain a high level of Health & Safety standards.
- Follow company procedures at all times.
- Ad hoc jobs as required

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**:

- An excellent team player with the desire to succeed.

- A person who can pay careful attention to the job & follow instructions precisely.
- Numeracy and literacy.
- Punctuality at all times.
- A flexible attitude.
- Knowledge and experience of warehousing, and warehouse management systems (preferably within the motor factor industry)
- Dependable & Reliable
- A Driving License [Preferably Clean].
- A good local knowledge of the area.
- Previous Multi drop experience and some warehousing experience
- A smart personal appearance.
- Professional Manner

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
