Our client, a busy civil engineering contractor, is seeking a skilled Sub Agent with a civil engineering background to supervise a bridge repair project just north of Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to critical infrastructure maintenance. The position offers competitive remuneration of £28 - £30 per hour and tax payment methods of CIS or PAYE.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all aspects of the bridge repair project, ensuring adherence to specifications, budgets, and schedules.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to ensure efficient project execution.
- Monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance, addressing any issues that arise.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Prepare progress reports, maintain documentation, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Collaborate with the project team to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Sub Agent or similar role within the civil engineering sector.
- Strong knowledge of bridge repair and maintenance processes, techniques, and materials.
- Familiarity with relevant engineering standards, specifications, and health and safety regulations.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and contracts.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or a related field.

**Remuneration and Tax Payment Methods**: The Sub Agent position offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from £28 to £30, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Tax payment methods available include CIS or PAYE.
