- This school is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join their supportive KS2 team, within school there is a sense of togetherness and unity. This role is to work with 1:1 with a child within a Year 3 class. Your role will be to support a child with Autism (ASD) on a 1:1, the child benefits greatly from a calm and consistent approach supported by visual timetables, now and next provisions, sensory breaks and pictorial cues. The child receives a completely personalised curriculum whiles including her in the ethos and learning of the class. Developing communication skills will be key to the role. The child has a EHCP which is implemented alongside advice from the speech and language specialist. During the afternoons you will be supporting the class as a general class teaching assistant._

- _ Qualified to NVQ level 2 qualification (or equivalent) or higher_

- _ Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks_
- _ CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible_
