**Responsibilities**:
Job Purpose

Participate in the production and packing of all Kirsty’s products made on site ensuring compliance with all relevant food safety legislation.

**Main Duties**
- Work according to Standard Operating Practice’s and hit production targets;
- Working on a fast-paced manufacturing / production line;
- Picking of ingredients to service the line;
- Monitoring and packing finished products ready for despatch;
- Carrying out quality checks on products;
- Package items to company guidelines;
- Ensure paperwork and packaging for collections and couriers is completed;
- Handling raw meat;
- Be available to cover productions runs at short notice, with additional hours as required;
- Filling up crates with product.
- Observe and maintain safety levels with attention to machinery and electrical equipment.
- Undertake training to meet food legislation requirements.
- Maintain a strict level of personal and workplace hygiene.
- Liaise and communicate with other teams.
- Regular cleaning of work area and weekly deep cleaning as per cleaning schedule
- Disposal of all production waste as required, i.e. product packaging, empty containers etc.
- To undertake other duties within the Manufacturing team and the wider business as deemed reasonable by the company.
- Compliance with food safety, quality and legality in line with company policy and to promote and encourage a positive food safety culture.

**Line Leader Responsibilities**
- Leading a small team of operatives
- Overall responsibility for Critical Control Points
- Completion and sign off of any production related documentation
- Managing safety start up procedures
- Problem solving to avoid down time in production
- Machinery start up and general operation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.50-£12.03 per hour
