**Employability Key Worker**

Fulltime Monday - Friday 9am-5pm

35 hours per week - Hybrid/Flexible working

Salary - £22,000 pa

The Make It Work East Dunbartonshire Project provides a specialist employability and skills service for people with a history of Criminal Justice, across East Dunbartonshire. We provide a wide range of support to anyone over the age of 16 to identify and remove barriers that are preventing them moving forward towards a positive destination such as gaining employment, engaging in education or training or volunteering. The Programme brings together a wider support network of Specialist organisations to support our participants and provide help with things like Mental Health, Debt, Housing, Parenting, Convictions, Disabilities and Benefits etc.

This role in particular will focus on end-to-end support to people over the age of 16 + with a history of Criminal Justice.

**Main Duties**
- Manage a caseload of customers to ensure support is provided to progress to a positive destination through a robust action plan towards employment, education or training.
- Address barriers to employment, utilising the established relationships with stakeholders within East Dunbartonshire and develop new relationships to continue to grow the support offer.
- Observe and adhere to our customer service standards to ensure all customers are provided with a high standard of service that maximises their chances of securing sustainable employment, training or education.
- Maintain Customer CRM to a required quality standard to ensure the customer journey is documented in accordance with our quality standards.
- Identify employment opportunities with employers and stakeholders through marketing & liaising directly
- Ensure compliance with our company policies (including Health & Safety, Safeguarding and Data Security)
- Will be based in our Kirkintilloch Office with travel across the community required

**Knowledge/Experience**
- Experience of working in a Customer Focussed or Employability role is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge and experience in all Microsoft packages with a methodical & organised approach to working.
- The ability to build rapport and maintain strong relationships using strong negotiation skills.
- Supporting clients through confidence building and barrier removal in to employment, education or training.
- Driving license & access to a car is essential
