**Social Worker**

Positive Employment is looking for a Social Worker to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to build long-term relationships with our clients and staff, and make a difference in their lives. We are seeking a Social Worker who is passionate about serving the community and wants to be part of growing organization.

**Responsibilities**:
**Provide case management services for children and adolescents with emotional or behavioral problems**
- Collaborate with the Clinical Director on client care and plan of services
- Provide counseling to children and adolescents with emotional or behavioral problems
- Build long-term relationships with clients through engaging them in multiple types of group activities, provide individual counseling as needed, and work collaboratively with other providers as needed
- Serve as a role model for other professionals working with children and adolescents with emotional or behavioral problems
- Develop professional skills such as the ability to write comprehensive treatment plans, handle conflict calmly and professionally, and effectively interact with clients, families, service providers, and others in the community

**Qualifications**:
**Licensed social worker in the state of practice required. Master’s degree from an accredited school will be considered. Doctorate degree strongly preferred.**
- Experience working with children and adolescents with emotional or behavioral problems a plus but not required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £22.03 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Camden: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (required)

**Experience**:

- social work: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- DBS (required)
