Supporting the Head of Procurement and Logistics in the delivery the Procurement strategy, managing the delivery of year on year CIP programmes, as well as strategic, tactical and transaction work streams.

Executive team, Care Groups Leads, Directorate Leads, Corporate Leads, NHS Partner Leads. As well as, leading direct reports within the team in line with our CARE values, Vision 2025 and Procurement Strategy.

Strategic

Support the Head of Procurement in the development and delivery of the Trust’s Procurement Strategy, Transformation and CIP programmes. Education/Qualifications & Training

Degree educated (or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through any combination of alternative study or employment).

Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent experience / qualification.

Experience

Experience at a strategic and tactical level of managing small - medium sized team of professionals, with responsibility for a number of complex and high value sourcing projects.

**Proven experience of**:

- Commercial negotiations; and understanding of business strategy.
- Industry best practice and cross-sector experience
- Managing highly complex contractual negotiations and process
- People-management
- Managing public sector procurement
- Expertise in negotiating hospital related supplies
- Have experience of large department staff with associated budget.
- Managerial experience in the Health Sector
- Proven ability to work across traditional boundaries
- Training in effective leadership
