Hackney, United Kingdom Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Full time

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy IAPT service and contribute to the provision of a stepped-care service for psychological problems.

The post is based at St Leonard’s Hospital in Hoxton but may involve travel to other community and primary care sites in Hackney. Full-time staff are expected to work on-site two days per week and work remotely three days per week.

Talk Changes is a well-established service with a commitment to quality and service innovation. You will be joining a team of 35 PWP’s, Trainee and Senior PWP’s and 40 High Intensity Therapists with ready access to specialist supervision. We also have good links with regional clinical/counselling psychology training courses and substantial in-service training programmes.

The post holder will be responsible for delivery of a range of psychological assessment and low-intensity interventions. These include: one to one protocol based treatments of common mental health problems, guided self-help, online CBT programs and psycho-educational group workshops.

We have a well-established long term conditions team of PWP and HI Therapists with opportunities for further training in this area, and a dedicated frontline staff pathway for frontline staff impacted by the current pandemic. Staff are actively encouraged to engage with outreach work within the community and with service - related research.

The service has a strong focus on staff wellbeing within the context of IAPT service provision, with opportunities for continued professional development.
