Secur-It is a rapidly growing integrated security company with a progressive approach that is grounded in the decades of experience shared by all senior management and operatives. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent service and bespoke packages to our clients across a wide range of sectors. We have grown over the last 3 years establishing ourselves amongst the front runners of the Security sector specialising in Retail, Construction and Domestic monitoring services, and due to growth are seeking to recruit VSS (formerly known as CCTV) Operatives to expand and strengthen our team.

The Role:

- Monitoring of live and reactive VSS systems
- Following standard operating procedures to dispatch the appropriate response
- Liaising with third parties such as site owners, Police, partner security firms & other official bodies
- Creation of incident reports to provide a full account of any occurrences on our customers’ property.
- Responding to incoming alarms
- Booking security guards onto site
- Carrying out welfare checks
- Dealing with incoming calls from guards, security companies and clients
- Using IT systems to record details and conversations accurately and promptly
- Shift pattern is 4 on/4 off - 2 days followed by 2 nights, 12 hour shifts
- Strong previous experience of a customer service role, ideally telephone based
- A good standard of both written and spoken English is essential
- A strong, confident communicator who isn’t afraid to pick up a telephone and speak with clients or stakeholders.
- A strong IT skill set is required, to include Microsoft Office, and ideally use of an electronic alarm handling system
- Attention to detail and accuracy is essential
