- Be fully responsible for the management and treatment, of evidence based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, of children and young people with severe and complex problems, and manage difficult emotional situations with sensitivity and skill.
- Exercise full responsibility for the treatment and discharge of a highly complex clinical caseload, offering individual and group therapy, in line with service targets.
- Undertake highly specialised assessments of referrals for CBT, including that of patients presenting with trauma related difficulties, based upon knowledge, understanding, and evidence-based practice, and the range of other treatments This will require holding conflicting information in mind and understanding how differing theoretical models can be integrated in a way that is productive for the patient. This will involve:
