Archive and Sample Coordinator

Labcorp is a leading global drug development services company and we provide support to the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries.

Due to expansion, we are currently looking to hire an **Archive and Sample Coordinator** to join our team in **Harrogate, North Yorkshire**, on a **1 Year Fixed Term Contract.**

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team in a regulated but non-lab based setting.

In this role you will be performing a variety of Sample Management and/or Archives responsibilities in compliance with appropriate SOP’s and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Clinical Practice (GCP) or Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations (as appropriate) in support of various Business Unit Operations.

**Main responsibilities include**:

- Performing any combination of sample management and/or archive tasks, including labelling, receipt, transferring, tracking, inventory, archival, shipping, and disposal of samples and/or materials
- Sample accession core tasks, including box opening, inventory/labeling, receipt/store, and pulls/returns
- Using tracking systems as appropriate to maintain sample and study integrity
- Accurate protocol and relevant documentation interpretation (i.e., Sample Analysis Outline, client paperwork)
- Documenting and communicating discrepancies to appropriate personnel, and assists with problem solving
- Maintaining client and business confidentiality
- Maintaining storage units
- Ensuring company procedures are followed in relation to security and access to relevant areas and data or sample integrity

**Working Conditions and Physical requirements include**
- Repetitive motion via samples and computer terminal
- Lifting up to 25 kilos/50 pounds on a frequent basis
- High volume and high production environment
- May work within a cold storage environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
