**Job description**

Our Client is an established construction company, with offices in the north west region. OSP are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the company due to continuous growth.

This role will be on a full time basis working 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday.

With a positive attitude, a team player and someone who can take ownership of tasks, working in an office and with experience in the construction industry would be an advantage but not essential.

Duties
- Liaising with suppliers and contractors
- Liaising with staff in other departments
- Making sure that customer and supplier accounts are accurate (reconciling)
- Receiving, processing and filing paperwork
- Inputting information into a computer-based accounts system
- Keeping track of figures by working with spreadsheets Checking/verifying calculations to make sure they're correct
- Preparing, organising, and storing information on paper and by digital form.
- Creating, sending and reconciling invoices.
- Purchase Ledger and some Credit Control
- General Administration as part of the role.

Administrative and accounts experience and substantial IT knowledge and understanding, is essential. You must be willing to learn and be proactive, with strong organisational skills. You will be expected to prioritise your own workload and work to deadlines in a busy but friendly office environment. You will need to have good analytical skills, a good grasp of numeracy and be thorough paying attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must.
