We are looking for a passionate, driven and motivated individual to join our small team in our busy restaurant. An exciting opportunity for someone to join our team, improve their skills and develop their career in hospitality.

**The role -**

To be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the restaurant including supervising staff, stock management, preparing high quality products and customer care.

Essential:

- Experience in a supervisory role
- Good levels of numeracy and literacy
- Customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in hospitality industry

Desirable:

- A background in the catering industry
- Basic knowledge of food Health & Safety
- Coffee knowledge
- Wine, Spirit & cocktail knowledge

**About us**

We are an unauthentically Italian restaurant based in the heart of the Old Needlemakers in Lewes. Our kitchen offers handmade pasta dishes and delicious hearty Italian cuisine. Our drinks & wine list, Italian focused on wines from the many wonderful regions and an ever growing list of Amaro's.

You will be working with our two chef owners and owner/general manager. We are a young and passionate team who have all been working in hospitality for all of our working lives. We love hosting our guests and giving them a unique and incredible dining experience and want to work with an individual who is keen to learn and build on their career in hospitality.

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£24,000.00 per year

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
