Machine Shop Setter

Applicant needs to be familiar with Multiple Spindles, Multiple Turret, preferable Index Speedline ABC - Siemens Control type CNC machines.

**Description**

**Main duties and responsibilities**:
- Set machines as requested and ensure that cycle times achieve the quality and output standards required.
- Check all first off and compare last off from machines and verify accuracy of machine setting.
- Recognise, identify and rectify or report all quality defects and failures to achieve the required standards.
- Recognise and report exceptional requirements or shortfalls for parts and components.
- Train and develop new team members to the standard required.
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment, be responsible for good housekeeping and ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards.
- Maintain good communications and relationships throughout the company.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and make suggestions for improvement.
- Fill in for machine shop team leader when required.
- Be adverse with 5s maintenance and near miss reporting
**Profile**
- Experience working with multiple turrets
- Experience working with multiple spindles
- Experience working with Siemens control type CNC machines
- Experience working with Fanuc control type CNC machines
