Summary
Historic England have a fantastic opportunity for you to join us as our Payroll Assistant.
You will have the opportunity to join a supportive and knowledgeable team in our Finance Department where you will be responsible for checking and processing payroll data in line with organisational and customers service level agreements.
This is a great opportunity for you to develop and learn key skills in payroll.
This opportunity is based in Swindon - we offer hybrid working where you will be based in the office and from home.
What you will be doing:
You will be our first contact point for customers and you will providing timely, efficient and effective administrative support.
We need you to maintain user access to electronic payslips, including new starter set-up.
Process physical and electronic mail, payslips and other payroll related material, providing advice and guidance as necessary and archive physical documentation.
Undertake assigned month-end and year-end duties relating to payroll close..
You will Log, chase and check timesheets for processing and ensure data is complete and accurate to ensure the timesheet upload process operates efficiently and effectively.

**Salary**: £22,269.00 per year
