Responsibilities:
Answering the phone in a timely manner, checking any queries that may need to be answered.

Helping with the unpacking of the jobs when needed to cover sickness or annul leave.

Helping with booking in/out jobs into the Labtrac system when needed to cover sickness and annual leave.

Requesting of photos from dental practices were indicated on the prescription forms.

Taking calls requests for collections from delivery drivers and informing them via phone if they have left for the run.

Print and distribute the monthly order sheets.

Sort orders when arrived in to correct departments ensuring that the order is marked off against the delivery.

Make a note of any back orders and follow up within the week to chase the missing items.

Make a note of any extra ordered missed off the monthly order noting the delivery cost.

Order any Ad hoc orders for cases.

Prepare work sheet with work that is being sent to our sister lab, ensuring return date is clearly marked on the sheet so they know when to return to the lab.

Mark off all sent & returning work from our sister lab on the inhouse Labrtac system.

Checking any work that hasn’t returned on time Contacting the lab and finding out the reason as to why if work hasn’t been returned on the correct day to find out when this will be returned, ensuring this is marked on the sheet.

Prepare and print off all stock take sheets. Handing these to the Lab manager when due every quarter.

Ensure stock sheet prices are updated, by checking the invoices of the monthly orders.

Enter the stock take quantities once given back by staff member.

Send off once completed and check for inconsistencies to Lab director and Head office.
