**About us**

Crystal Hall Care Home is a single site facility offering residential and nursing care for up to 64 adults with mental health disorder and / neurological disorders.

We are looking to enhance our site maintenance team and require an experienced maintenance officer to work alongside our Site Manager to oversee the external and internal maintenance of the building, equipment, and grounds.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible for carrying out maintenance duties as and when required alongside the Site Manager.
- This role requires the post holder to share the "on-call" responsibilities with the site manager on a mutually agreed basis.
- To take reasonable care of all items of equipment used to carry out tasks, including general cleanliness and advising on faults and need for maintenance or replacement of same
- To carry out periodic inspections and checks
- Responsible to receive and distribute deliveries and dispose of domestic and clinical waste safely.
- The post holder is expected to interact with and direct contractors that visit the site.

**About You**

Our ideal Maintenance Person will have the following:

- Caring nature and ability to adapt to our resident’s needs.
- Experience of Decorating & DIY
- Clean Driving Licence
- Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
- Previous experience within a Care or Nursing Home setting or similar

**Experience, Skills and Ability**
- Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
- Ability to work closely with all the Home’s departments, service users and visitors and communicate effectively with them.
- Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Able to work within policies and procedures.
- Skilled in a range of maintenance procedures

**Salary**: £28,080.00 per year
