If so, we are seeking an enthusiastic, presentable & hard-working person to join our extremely busy warehouse crew.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this is a dual role combining delivery driving with warehousing work. When you're not out in the van you'll be in the warehouse helping as part of a team.

For the van driving part of the job, you’ll be the face of our extremely well-established company and be on your own for the smaller, multi-drop runs delivering to the most prestigious venues in Scotland. For the larger, furniture jobs you’ll have a crew member helping you. So it’s vital that you’re physically fit and can lift heavy boxes and move furniture around. Full training will be provided by our friendly and experienced crew.

When you’re in the warehouse you’ll be working with the team to help pick and pack orders, count orders back in and even assist with cleaning our hire products. Basically, we need a multi-tasker who’s not scared to get his or her hands dirty.

Our shift patterns are based on a 37.5 hour week Monday-Friday on the following basis but you will be expected to stick around if we’re up against it to ensure the job is finished:

- 6am - 2pm
- 7am - 3pm
- 8am - 4pm
- **You’ll be paid at 1.5x for any weekday work in excess of 40 hours and ALL weekend shifts are paid at 1.5x assuming you do 37.5 hours during the week. But it gets better than that as you will be guaranteed a minimum of 4 hours pay at 1.5x for a weekend shift even if it only takes you 2 hours to do the job. Typically our warehouse/driver operatives average around 40-42 hours per week during our busy periods.**_

**Experience**

All you need to be considered for this role is a minimum of 1 year’s van driving experience with a clean license. Experience in a warehouse or customer facing role would be advantageous but not essential. You'll also need demonstrate you’re a presentable, hard-working, good communicator if selected for interview.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: £12.08 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 - 42 per week
