Your new role

All our roles operate on s hybrid basis with 40% of time expected to be worked in the office. Occasional travel to project sites may also be required.

Within this role you will provide comprehensive project support for project management activities including finance, document control and scheme governance. You will be required to go that extra mile, be proactive and take pride in what you do to deliverhigh quality and accurate outputs.

What you’ll be leading on:
Monitor project inboxes to ensure they are managed effectively, distributing, and raising key information with project team including Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager.
Support effective information management including the maintenance of high-quality project products and records.
Co-ordinate high-quality responses for customer contacts including enquiries, complaints, and ministerial correspondence, ensuring correspondence is drafted and completed to the required performance standards for quality and timeliness.
Support with project / programme governance and assurance requirements including stage gate assessments, independent audits, and project health checks.
Support with timely preparation of meetings and engagements with internal and external stakeholders, taking accurate minutes/records where required.
Assist with project management products including project plans, risk registers, action logs, benefits registers, and stakeholder engagement plans
Develop and sustain effective working relationships with key stakeholders in National Highways and the supply chain.
To be successful you’ll demonstrate:
Relevant project and or/programme support skills, knowledge and experience within a large business.
Experience in the use of business information and document management systems.
Exceptional organisational skills including managing multiple tasks to deadlines.
Experience of answering queries, drafting and managing correspondence.
Experience of customer and stakeholder engagement.
Strong collaborator, to gain the involvement and engagement of a wide range of stakeholders
