Digital Strategy & Solutions, Associate Director, UK&I Affiliate

The Gilead UK/I affiliate is a dynamic and fast paced environment working in the therapy areas of HIV, Liver Disease, Haematology, Oncology and Cell Therapy.

The Digital Strategy & Solutions Associate Director will be responsible for leading this function which sits in the Commercial Operations Business Unit. You will oversee and evolve the UK&I digital strategy plan and prioritise/manage projects to enhance the business, and lead a team to drive for excellence in implementation. The reporting team currently consists of 1 permanent and 1 contractor positions, manages 2 agency project based agency workers and importantly works very closely with the brand teams and the Veeva Events Management (VEM) and Veeva Vaults Promomats (VVPM) Business Partners. This is an enterprise level role, meaning that much of the work will have an impact on commercial, medical, regulatory, and legal. This role is hybrid with an expectation to be working from the office 3 days a week.

This position reports to the Commercial Operations Senior Director.

Specific Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the UK&I digital plan and roadmap.
- Continue to drive a customer centric mindset across all parts of the business to help the company continue to meet customer expectations.
- Senior level stakeholder engagement to help drive the UK&I digital transformation.
- Inspire and develop the digital team.
- Continue to evolve the digital function to meet internal business objectives.
- Work closely with the Veeva Event Management (VEM) and Veeva Vaults Promomats (VVPM) Business Partners to implement optimal systems and processes to support digital innovation.
- Drive excellent cross functional working.
- Lead & chair key working groups to drive improved compliance and digital capability.
