We are looking for a passionate sports fan with a detailed knowledge of sports competitions and rights in our biggest sports; football, snooker, golf, tennis, cycling and motorsports.

The Sports Coordinator team at Warner Bros. Discovery works across multiple feeds transmitted to the UK, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland. The main purpose of the role is to screen and prepare programme material for on-air transmission.

Working within the Network Origination Services you will be responsible for the editing of our WBD Sport content across TNT Sports, Eurosport, and FTA channel portfolio in the UK and Nordic markets.

**The role...**
- Curate exciting sports content and coordinate with territory stakeholders for our sport channels within tight turnarounds. Proactively follow up on missing programmes and quickly process late deliveries
- Create engaging highlight packages/fillers for TNT Sports, Eurosport UK plus the Nordic Markets
- Work with the lead and supervisor to plan around major upcoming events and tournaments
- Maintain good knowledge of sports, live specific rights and compliance regulations
- Process short form content on a shift basis
- Work comfortably to deadline especially during high profile events e.g Olympics, Wimbledon etc
- Participate in weekly recording meetings with the Ingest, Live and Scheduling teams
- Liaise with the Material, Ingest and Compliance teams to ensure all scheduled programmes are ingested and meet broadcasting standards and regulatory requirements
- Import edits and break point data to What’sOn including time codes, audio configuration, aspect ratio, end credit time codes and special remarks. Flagging any potential issues
- Participate in training staff members when required

**Skills & Experience...**
- In-depth knowledge of Sports and the sporting calendar.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Editing role. Ideally in Live production or within a post-production facility
- Good understanding of broadcast scheduling and MAM systems
- Excellent communication skills.
- Enthusiastic and forward thinking.
- Understanding of the BLM/CSA/Ofcom Broadcasting Code regulations (or equivalent local regulator).
- Great attention to details and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Scandinavian language skills are an advantage but not a must.
