Just Desserts are based in the heart of West Yorkshire, we are an independent, Award Winning family run business establish in 1985. We specialise in baking and producing a range of high quality, award winning range of desserts to the food service industry.

We have a vacancy for a Warehouse Assistant. This role would suit someone who has forklift truck experience as you will be required to use one on a daily basis. This is not essential as training can be given as this will form a major part of the role as the job progresses.

This is a very demanding and physical job so it is essential that you are strong and fit, and able to bend and lift repeatedly.

Your role plays an important part of the operation and as well as being numerate and literate, you will be highly organised, able to multi task and be a strong team player who works well under pressure. You must also be able to confidentially use computers to record deliveries and have great attention to detail to be able to check ALL deliveries, batch codes, dates etc.

The role will be a varied position, including receiving and recording goods in, picking customer orders from a cold store and you will also be assisting in the bakery, helping pack finished products into boxes and storing in the freezers.

You will also be responsible for keeping the warehouse and loading bays clean and tidy

Experience of working in a food environment would be useful.

You will be joining a friendly hard working team and though the role will start as a temporary position it will become permanent after a satisfactory probationary period.

We offer full training and provide your work wear, and have a staff canteen with free hot and cold drinks. We also offer staff discount and you will be automatically enrolled into the company's pension scheme after 6 months.

Your hours of work will be Monday to Wednesday 7.30am to 4.00pm, Thursday 7.00am to 4.00pm and Friday 7.00am to 3.00pm

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
