Goods-In Inspection role within the Production Department is responsible for carrying out the inspecting and booking in of raw materials and goods.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform (as applicable) required Good Inwards Inspections activities, as derived from product Quality Plans
- Inspect camera components, which have been manufactured by different processes (e.g. casting, plastic molding, machining, 3D printing), using basic measuring equipment (calipers, height gauges, and height indicators), and report findings.
- Liaising with the ISO & Compliance Manager/Supply Chain Manager and Production Engineer in the investigations and resolution of supplier quality defects.
- Ensuring goods-in clerical booking in is carried out, including cross-checking of documentation (including but not limited to: PO details e.g part number and revision, quantity supplied against order).
- Verification of serial tracked product upon receipt
- Prompt advising the Supply Chain Manager of the arrival of all “urgently required” goods for imminent build/processing.
- Inform the Supply Chain Manager of any imminent shortage which would potentially affect build or shipping commitments.
- Updating/data entry to the Salesforce database with the receipt of goods returned under RMA.
- Advising (as applicable) the relevant department of the arrival of all field/loan returns.
- Ensuring the receipt area is kept tidy and organized and to be able to locate packages as required.
- When required, ensure that products, components, sub-assemblies, and kits are available/issued to the shop floor/despatch for build/assembly/test/pack to meet orders listed on the shipping schedule.

Experience
- Must have previous experience in quality control.
- Must have knowledge of manufacturing methods, quality system design, and documentation
- Must have the ability to understand engineering drawings and quality plans.
- Must be able to organize, document, and report results for dimensional inspection.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Organised and tidy.
- Exhibit good written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work in a team.
