An opportunity has arisen for **Engineer - Cell Technology** to join our Battery Systems team in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment. Purpose of the role is to support the battery development across all electrification programmes at WAE in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment.

**Job role**:

- Representing WAE internally as battery cell technical experts
- Evaluating battery cell technology and products
- Defining battery cell test plans and procedures to validate cell performance and safety.
- Analysing battery cells through data analysis and physical analysis.
- Validating cell models.
- Tracking state-of-the-art cells and the broader cell market.
- Engaging with cell suppliers as cell technical experts.
- Representing WAE externally as a battery cell technical expert for ongoing project delivery, business development, and academic partnerships.

**You’ll have**:

- A qualification in a STEM course or relevant equivalent experience.
- Experience in data analysis in MATLAB.
- Knowledge of battery cell technologies.
- Familiarity in battery cell testing.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
