Our Merchandising team ensures that we have the right products, atthe right time, in the right place and in the right quantities. Reporting to the Merchandiser,the Merchandise Admin Role helps to maximiseprofit & minimise costs by maintaining efficient stock flow, througheffective management of stock into DC, and allocation and distribution of stockto all channels. Accountable for maintaining accurate information relevant tostock, purchase orders and shipping to enable on time payments to stock andsupply chain suppliers. Championing compliance with our processes across internal& external teams.
We are looking for a Merch admin to come aboard and join our fantastic team 3 days per week (8:30am-5pm Wednesday and Thursday, 8:30-3pm on Friday)
**Role**
- Accurately create new items in Futura, checking all information is available & correct
- Raise PO’s and issue to Suppliers
- Issue the Supplier Manual & Terms & Conditions Document &handle any queries
- Maintain Supplier database with Certificate & Payment term details
- Ensure all purchase order dates aremaintained and reported correctly on the system and intake reports
- Issue product information to suppliers after the order raisingprocess, making sure they have the correct information to comply with ourbarcoding and packaging requirements
- Liaise with suppliers to generate Letters of Credit and handle anyqueries or amendments they requireChecking Supplier invoices are accurate & ensure suppliers receivedeposit & balance payments on time
- Forecast expenditure on freight & duty based on volume, freightmethod, country of origin, product type and month of shipping
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders and logistics on alldeliveries and deal with queries as they arise
- Be main point of contact for allimport requests, documents and queries, maintaining all key shipping trackingdocuments, including Shipping Schedule
- Ensure alldocuments in place to import duty-free goods where possible and that shipmentsare released for delivery to us in a timely cost efficient manner, viacommunications with forwarding agent
- Assign import & export tariff codes toall items
- Monitoring intake of stock to ensure there is enough stock coveracross your category
- Allocating stock for all channels - Retail, E-Com & wholesale
- Supporting with product launches
- Store point of contact for stock management
- Product analysis, identify trends, issues, and sales performance
- Working closely and supporting the Merchandising team - creatingdaily/weekly reporting, trading updates and general administrative tasks
- Action Price changes, promotions & stock movements as directed byMerchandiser/Head of B&M, trouble-shooting any store queries in these areas
**Whatyou’ll bring**
- A passion for numbers and problem solving
- Competent in Microsoft Excel - spreadsheets are the daily norm for Merchandising team
- Keen to grow and develop a career path within Merchandising
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Passionate for fashion
- Great people and communication skills
- GCSE 5 or above in Maths
