A great opportunity has arisen to join the Samuel Heath team We are recruiting a full-time QA Inspector.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Goods in Inspection: Carry out inspection by following the inspection plan and record results on the QMS. Also, liaise with purchasing, design and production as required.
- Report and raise NCR requests as required, using the QMS.
- Conduct NCR action Requests: Reject/Pass components stock and work in progress. Supply samples and documentation to support.
- Create quality schedules for new components and maintain existing documents with support from purchasing, design and production. Reviewing all existing documentation and update to the latest requirements as required.
- Create bought in component specification files with support from purchasing, design and production.
- Bought in new component first off inspection: Carry out inspection with support from purchasing, design and production.
- Carry out system audits in accordance with the audit schedule
- Any other duties that may from time to time be reasonably expected.

**Knowledge**, **Qualifications and/or Experience Required**
- Experience of goods inwards inspection work.
- Experience of creating documents within a quality system.
- Computer literate and experience with Quality Management Systems, Word and Excel.
- Knowledge for carrying out system audits
- Degree in quality, mechanical engineering.
- 4 years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role.
- Reading and understanding CAD drawings and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.
- Should have good knowledge of all measurement tools and techniques.
- Must have experience in operating CMM’s and other inspection tools and equipment.
