**My client based in Birmingham is in need of a QMS Lead.**

**QMS**
- In conjunction with the Manufacturing Manager, C Manager and technical team, continuously developthe QMS system and quality assurance policies and procedures to meet the needs of the business, our customers and external parties
- Maintain all internal documents and systems through regular review, internal audits and other quality assurance activitiesto agreed levels of compliance
- Monitor the collection and compilation of statistical quality data to support the continuous improvement of all processes
- Organise, coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers and peer audits by associated companies and customers
- Prepare regular communications and reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities internally and assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
- Ensure quality information is communicated to all levels of the organisation in a manner which is relevant to each function, including inductions for new starters and regular updates and reports to SMT.
- In conjunction with the Production team monitor, manage and record all CAR’s, ICAR’s & SCAR’s and NCR’s in line with the quality policy and offer support and advice to resolve issues to identified timescales as part of the QMS system.
- Conduct internal audits to assess compliance and implement corrective action in all departments as necessary through the influence of new policies and procedures, training etc to meet the developing business needs
- Continuouosly evaluate audit findings and support relevant areas to implement appropriate corrective actions to support continuous improvement
- In conjunction with HR Manager identify training needs and organise training interventions to meet quality standards
- Investigate non-conformance issues and customer complaints, communicating with all relevant parties as per company procedures to resolution as per the QMS policies
- Support Production/Technical/all teams with any quality related issues which impact on customers to identify ’Root Cause’ and implemntation of corrective action to support continuous improvement.
- Manage the process for supplier audits as part of quality assurance for procurement as part of the requirements of external standards and the integrated management system.

The salary for this role is up to £40k per annum.
