Support Worker Day Provision
A great opportunity has just become available for a motivated Support worker to support adults with emotional behavioural needs and learning disabilities. Do you want to make a difference on a daily basis providing support to adults with autism supportingthem to learn and achieve.

My client is well established, with services managed to a high standard and they are looking for a Support Worker with the confidence and ability to make a difference. You will need to support service user’s day to day with activities and their interestssupporting them to enjoy the best quality of life. This service is located in Stockton-on-Tees, Durham.

This is an exciting opportunity and won’t be around for long
- Salary - £9.70 per hour £17,654 per annum
- Hours - 35 hours per week
- Shifts - Between Monday - Friday 0800 - 1800
- Area - Stockton-on-Tees, Durham

**Responsibilities Support Worker Day Provision**
- Form positive relationships with service users and provide an environment in which they feel safe and free from harm.
- Providing a positive role model able to offer advice, guidance, and assistance where appropriate
- Ensure that their care plans are up to date, will all care needs being met.
- Planning and coordinating social, leisure, educational and recreational activities
- Support service user’s in learning new skills and increasing their confidence whilst promoting their independence and decision making
- Assist service users maximise use of the facility and its services
- Completing indoor and outdoor activities

**Skills required Support Worker Day Provision**
- Previous experience working with Learning Disabilities and Autism is essential
- Caring personality and nature
- Positive attitude and passion to help others
- Basic IT skills and basic computer programmes such as word, Excel and Outlook.
- A commutable distance from Stockton-on-Tees, Durham.
