**Purpose of Position**:
To work as a member of the housekeeping team and to assist in such duties as is necessary to ensure that the highest standard possible in good housekeeping is achieved and maintained.

**Responsibilities**:

- Accommodation Assistant are required to arrive in good time and wearing full uniform, long hair tied back, and jewellery kept to a minimum.
- Always remember that the guests are the reason that we are here, be polite and helpful to all guests all the time.
- Closed in footwear must be worn while on duty to comply with safety regulations.
- Use correct procedure when entering a bedroom, knock and announce yourself. Leave bedroom door open while you are inside, shut bedroom properly when you leave.
- Service and clean bedrooms to the specific standard.
- Report maintenance problems to the Manager.
- Be responsible for corridors in your section. This incorporates dusting of skirting, pictures and the fittings and hoovering corridor.
- Be responsible for changing shower curtains and rings, cleaning and maintaining bathrooms.
- Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas and back of house.
- Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.
- Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed.
- Responds timely to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items like cribs, cots, extra towels, etc.
- Maintains inventory of necessary supplies.
- Follows departmental policies and procedures.
- Follows all safety and sanitation policies.
- Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
- Maintain stores and ensure trolleys are clean, tidy, and well stocked.
- Take due care when using materials, equipment, and cleaning agents.
- Be vigilant. Report anything you consider suspicious immediately to your supervisor.
- Attend training and development courses required.
- Be a good team member and have a positive approach to your work.
- Adhere to H&S, HR, and any relevant company policies.
- Ad hoc duties which include assisting in other departments.
- Partake in all sustainable and waste management practices required.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties requested by management.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.70-£13.50 per hour
