We are looking for a well-organised, motivated individual to join our busy and friendly team within the East Sussex, Brighton and Hove Breast Screening Department.
The successful post holder should have a proactive and friendly attitude and be able to demonstrate substantial administrative experience and be able to meet the main duties of the role as identified in the job description.
You must be able to work under your own initiative, possess excellent organisational skills and be experienced in dealing with confidential information.
To provide the best quality care and information to enable Clients to use the Breast Screening Service with confidence and make informed choices relating to their health.
To operate and maintain the National Breast Screening System (NBSS), Breast Screening Select (BSS) and help to facilitate the efficient function of the call/recall programme for Brighton & Hove and East Sussex, including the Very High Risk Breast Screening Programme.
To perform a variety of client related clerical duties in the Breast Screening Unit including answering the telephone and booking appointments.
To communicate and work effectively with a wide variety of clients and members of the Multidisciplinary Team.

- Demonstrate respect, dignity and privacy of all staff and patients and act with kindness and courtesy.

Able to communicate complex information, and possibly negotiate, in a calm and professional manner with clients who may be extremely angry or distressed.
