Corporate Tax Client Manager

Change Public Practice Group are working with a Scottish leading Accountancy firm with offices in Dunfermline and Dundee to recruit a Corporate Tax client manager. The role provides a good range of work for someone with a solid corporate tax compliance backgroundand dependent upon the circumstances, there may be opportunities to work part time and/or with flexible working hours.

Ongoing training will be provided, with the opportunity for the individual to attend the firm’s annual tax conference and to attend both internal and external training sessions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsibility for day-to -day delivery of exceptional client care
- Oversee a portfolio of clients to deliver work according to budget and deadlines
- Deliver tax compliance and advisory projects and working with the accounts team to provide the necessary corporate and deferred tax disclosure for inclusion in statutory accounts
- Reviewing corporation tax compliance work, tax accounting figures & disclosures, and assisting junior members with technical queries
- Build strong client relationships and active involvement with business development activities
- Building relationships with a portfolio of clients in the privately owned business sector
- Mentoring and leading the team

**Background & Experience**
- Preferably be CTA and or ACA/ ACCA qualified or a Tax Inspector with full Technical Training Course, or law qualification or experience equivalent
- Have a thorough understanding of UK corporate tax issues
- Experience with tax planning, capital gains, capital allowances, company restructuring, the review of corporate tax returns
