A great opportunity has arisen at **Hovis** we're looking for four **Bakery Operatives** at our site in **Avonmouth** to operate Bakery equipment and systems effectively. You will be supporting the achievement of site budget and will have effective input into delivery of the shift production plan to the right quality and be able to clean and maintain to agreed standards.

**Main Duties**:

- Operate Bakery equipment and systems effectively, from sieving ingredients, mixing the product, packing and stacking product, working the wrapping machines.
- Ensuring the work areas are kept clean
- Help to achieve the delivery of the shift production plan to the right quality

**Desired Skills and Experience**

**Knowledge & Experience**
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills, educated to at GCSE / NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
- Basic verbal & written communication skills to describe problems, causes and solutions
- Experience of working in a bakery
- Experience of a process environment
- Basic food hygiene qualification
- Strong basic problem-solving skills working within defined parameters
- Basic keyboard skills and IT aptitude to input and access data

**Desirable**
- Plant baking qualifications
- Basic health & safety qualification

Location: Based in Avonmouth

Type of Role: Full Time

Salary £31,000

Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off 12 hr shifts
