Olleco is on a mission to help protect the planet, working together with thousands of foodservice businesses to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by hundreds and thousands of tonnes. We are now looking for a Credit Control Team Leader to join our team and help us to continue to do things the right way for customers, colleagues and the planet.
With over 1,000 colleagues in multiple sites nationwide delivering excellence performance, we supply premium cooking oils, and collect organic waste, which is then converted into bio-methane, electricity, heat and organic fertiliser. We offer the human touch with a local, community based depots which seek to give back to those communities every chance we get.

**This is the role that’s on offer for the right person**:
As our Credit Control Team Leader, you will assist the Credit Control Manager with reporting, attending meetings, organising and developing the team, ensuring processes are evaluated and updated and proactively working to minimise bad debt.
**A little bit more about the role**:
- Help lead and develop our team of ever-growing Credit Controllers
- Motivate the credit control team to hit key Debtor Day Targets and Calling Targets
- Collect outstanding monies
- Post customer money onto the accounts system
- Chase customer debt through telephone calls and letters
- Support all areas of the Finance Department
- Assess team performance and provide feedback
- Assist with hiring and training employees.
- Perform customer service functions
- Resolve queries

As you can imagine, you’ll need a broad range of personal skills to succeed, but we don’t expect you to have everything from the start We will coach, train and support you, it’s more important that you have the right interpersonal skills and the intelligence to grasp our business and take us forward.
**We will be looking for**:
- A minimum of three years in a credit control role
- Experience in a telephone-based customer service or sales role
- Experience supervising a team
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- The ability to build positive customer relationships
- Excellent administration and organisational skills
- At a minimum, GCSEs or equivalent at level 4 / Grade C or above in Maths and English
