**The Company**:
ER Recruitment are delighted to be working exclusively with our client, Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service. They are committed to ensuring Safer People, Safer Places through the work they do and with the team who support their business object. They are looking for an HR Advisor to join their busy HR team based in the Birstall head office with agile working.

**Role & Responsibilities of the HR Advisor**:

- Provide proactive, accurate and relevant HR best practice advice, guidance, coaching, training and support to the organisation and its managers on a broad range of human resource issues
- Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships with customers and wider partners locally and regionally, and promoting effective relations with Trade Unions, Employee Groups and others
- Oversee and advise on employee relations matters to deliver desired outcomes, ensuring adherence to policy and procedure, whilst minimising risk to the Service
- Use management information metrics and data analytics to enhance and continuously improve absence management, succession planning and other areas of HR
- Act as a mentor and coach to both line management and junior members of the HR team, to provide support and opportunities for growth and development

**About You as the HR Advisor**:

- Strong knowledge of ER with proven experience
- CIPD Level 5, working towards or qualified by experience
- Able to prioritise effectively and reassess frequently as required
- A team player who is confident working autonomously for the benefit of the wider teams
- Meticulous with high attention to detail to ensure accuracy in obtaining and recording information
- A professional communicator both verbal and written with interpersonal skills
- Excellent stakeholder and customer engagement ability
- Valid driver’s licence to travel to other LFRS sites in the Leicestershire and Rutland areas as required
- Flexible to meet the demands of the role
