They have a phenomenal opportunity for a Senior Development Manager to join their successful team.

**Purpose of the role**:
You will be responsible for managing multiple complex renewable energy projects. You will take responsibility for a variety of renewable energy developments throughout the project lifecycle, from origination site prospects to project RTB / financial close.

To be successful in this post you will be able to manage such complex grid-connected renewable energy projects simultaneously, whilst providing support and guidance to more junior members of the development team, as well as providing strategic support andcritical thinking to the Head of Development.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for projects from 'validation' all the way through to project financial close and handover to the construction / delivery team
- Predicting and reporting on project progress and risks
- Managing various external consultants and internal team resources

Managing projects through all due development process including:

- Obtaining relevant planning approvals - securing legal and commercial agreements
- Managing consultants, technology and connections suppliers
- Managing technical on and off-site designs
- Securing and maintaining electrical connections as well as other utilities
- Obtaining relevant environmental permits
- Anticipating and mitigating development risk
- Budgetary and development portfolio and program responsibilities

**Qualifications / Experience**:

- A proven track record in energy development
- A good understanding of the renewable energy industry
- A driven and creative problem-solver
- An exceptional communicator and very well organised
- Be positive and ambitious
