Department: Country Management - UK & IRE

Reporting to: Senior Marketing Manager

The Department:
The Country Management department is responsible for driving performance to maximize the local market potential of all brands and products. You will a part of the UK team and as a Designer you will be creating assets that range from digital to video assets. You’ll be expected to be able to think outside the box, be a problem solver, and to communicate with stakeholders and team members.

Purpose of the role:
As our designer, you will help create and maintain eye-catching marketing material for the UK & IRE market and supporting our wider team with marketing and customer-facing assets across the website/app and for our social channels (banners, mailer imagery, website graphics, video, print, etc.) as well as help transform global concepts and toolkits when available.

You will be help articulate a consistent brand and creative vision that is in line with the global Betway creative brand standards but also localized for the UK & IRE market. This will be within an environment where dynamic designs are required, often with tight deadlines. The aim of this position is to have someone that will help to push the boundaries of content and creative vision for our market. You will need to be able to work on multiple projects at once and being able to multi-task.

You will be responsible for:

- Create marketing material for the country team which will include banners, landing pages and high-quality design solutions from storyboards to video assets using After Effects - fulfil briefs on time and on brand.
- Follow principles of good web and social design, ensuring that design layouts are compliance to the latest standards.
- Be knowledgeable and comfortable working within brand guidelines and implementing them across channels with your own flair.
- Taking ownership of the life cycle of your creative projects, adhering to deadline, communication with stakeholders, and briefing/time management, and project prioritization
- Supporting management to coordinate and manage larger briefings with cross-functional teams and a variety of stakeholders
- Identifying process issues within the design team and seeking solutions along with the managers to resolve them.
- Identifying new design trends and innovation - ways of improving current creative look and drive the vision for UK & IRE
- Help team members on best work practices when working on campaigns.

You will have (Essential skills):

- Can deliver excellent Motion graphics through After effects using vectors and other assets.
- Ability to create a storyboard from concept to script.
- Good typography/layout skills
- A good working knowledge of responsive design and mobile first and social best practices
- A solid design and digital understanding with the ability to deliver a succinct and effective technical design
- Possess strong design and conceptual skills
- Understanding of brand positioning, brand consistency and brand value
- Competent use of Adobe’s Creative Cloud Suite
- Aware of international web standards

It would be a bonus if you also had (Desirable skills):

- Degree or equivalent qualification in a related field such as digital design, graphic design
- Client facing experience.
- Experience with social media (YouTube, Tiktok, Snapchat & Instagram)
- Respectable understanding of HTML & CSS
- Experience from a sports and/or betting background and a passion for sports
