An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Surgery Division. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and highly motivated individual to assist in maintaining a high standard of care in a busy operational service environment.

This position will be ideal for a passionate team player dedicated to providing the highest level of service expected within this division.

Working in collaboration with both administrative and clinical staff, the post holder will work towards achieving an accurate and detailed knowledge of the department. Duties include liaising with Consultants, Junior Doctors and Clerical Teams to ensure there is no gaps in the service we provide to our patients.

A good general education is essential. A knowledge of the Trust systems would be desirable.

In your role as Rota Co-ordinator for Head & Neck Services you will be expected to have daily overview of the activities of all Medical staff in the clinical services to anticipate problems and where possible resolve situations expediently and be responsible for ensuring rotas are maintained and the dissemination of the rosters/rotas across the Trust, in the services covered by the coordinators

You will be expected to provide data and report information where necessary, relating to staffing numbers and recruitment to the Clinical Directors, and relevant parties and be aware of and ensure that all rotas adhere to the European Working Time Directives the New 2016 Junior Doctor Contract.
