**Junior Accountant**

A fantastic new opportunity has arisen due to company growth for a Junior Accountant.The Junior Accountant will be a key member of the team, reporting to the Finance Manager on a day-to-day basis. It is an extremely varied role that will include managementand statutory reporting as well as corporation tax and VAT compliance. With opportunities to get involved in forecasting and cashflow planning, as well as other ad-hoc project work.

The position requires a motivated and enthusiastic individual who has a strong desire to learn and develop their finance skills. It is essential they can manage competing priorities and communicate well in a fast-paced and high performing team environment.Being able to work proactively, use initiative and remain diligent and organised is an also a crucial part of the job.

The role would be of interest to those that want the challenge and responsibility of contributing towards the successes of a rapidly growing and ambitious company, with the support of an experienced professional team.
**Key responsibilities**
- Assistance with preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assistant with preparation of statutory accounts
- Assistance with preparation of annual tax returns
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Assistance with preparation of monthly cashflows
- Assistance with external audit queries
- Ad-hoc project work and financial analysis
- Preparing funding requests and cashflows
