Bridging Underwriter

We are working with a boutique bridging lender based in the Stockport/Cheadle area who specifically specialise in bridging - this is not a large outfit however due to their investment in case management and underwriting systems - their technology is extremelyimpressive

Salary £30 - 45k Depending on experience in the bridging arena - this role also offers flexible working at the same time as needing to have an office presence due to the nature of the role

We are recruiting for an experienced Underwriter from a bridging products environment to join an established team whilst a series of projects get under way. This is an exciting time to join the company.

The team is a small team and therefore there is a chance to be extremely influential within the business working with the MD and Senior Management alongside another Senior Underwriter

**Duties will include**:

- Build successful working relationships with third parties such as solicitors and valuers
- Understand and assess relevant supporting documentation such as credit reports, valuation reports and financial statements
- Monitor and report any fraudulent activity
- Work within regulatory requirements

**You will have**:

- Relevant, bridging, commercial or buy-to-let underwriting experience
- Enjoy working in an autonomous environment, as well as working as a team
- Have the ability to make decisions and communicate these clearly
- A confident self-starter
- Excellent numeracy skills
