We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic **Customer Service Advisor-Distribution** to join our team at **JPS Wakefield** working in partnership with Wakefield District Housing Association

Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS) is a brand within **STARK Group** which specialises in providing building material solutions for our customers in the Public Sector such as Housing Associations and Local Authorities.

As a **Customer Service Advisor-Distribution**, this role has a strong focus on Warehouse management as well as supporting in other areas of the branch. From serving our WDH Operatives with essential van stock and repair materials to loading and unloading vehicles, and managing goods inwards stock to serving on the trade counter

**The person we’re looking for will have**:

- A flexible approach to work; happy to learn skills to work in various departments within the branch
- Ideally have had experience within the construction/building materials industry (although not essential)
- Basic I.T Skills
- Attention to Detail
- Experience in a customer service role. Have experience working in a fast paced warehouse role with manual handling (full workwear and PPE is provided)
- Previous forklift experience desirable or willing to learn (in house training can be provided)
- A great team player; ready to support colleagues and customers when needed
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- People’s person with a strong relationship building ability
- Must be well presented and a hardworking, team player
- Driven, enthusiastic, hungry and lots of self-motivation
- Ambitious, opportunities available if looking for progression and wants to make a career for themselves

**Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30 - 5PM 42.5 hrs (No weekend) 1 hr break**
- **What will I be doing?**_

**Your day to day duties will be to**:

- Serving customers and building relationships
- Get to know our product lines so you can offer help and advice in our warehouse and at our trade counter
- Accurately and efficiently identifying and picking stock to fulfil operatives orders
- Processing orders on the in house system
- Load/unload customer and supplier vehicles using a forklift to minimise manual handling
- Check incoming stock deliveries and report missing or damaged products
- Put away stock in appropriate area
- Maintain stock levels, stock rotation and in the warehouse carrying out regular stock counts
- Keep the branch and warehouse looking clean and tidy
