**What You Need to Know**
This is a part time position and is a dual role which includes costing and sourcing parts, create technical and commercial quotations for small value projects as per customer enquiries in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring all necessary documentation and company interfaces are maintained to produce attractive proposals resulting in commercially attractive revenue for Proserv.
**Some of the Key Accountabilities (includes, but not limited to the following)**:
- Provide buying support and costing of parts, detailed written quotations for smaller valued IWOCS, Subsea Control Systems and Aftermarket Services with emphasis given to the following tasks and in accordance with company’s quality procedure.
- Provide costs and purchasing services to support projects and Bids team.
- Issue quotations within the specified due date.
- Identify the bid requirements and confer with team for additional technical resources required to support the complexity of each bid.
- Generate detailed material lists for all quotation line items which are to be supported by sub-supplier quotations where possible.
- Provide labour and Equipment estimates for IWOCS, Engineering and Aftermarket Service quotations.
- Have good Commercial awareness to Liaise with Bids team to minimise company exposure and risk on bids.
- Follow up quotations in conjunction with the sales department.
- Prepare handover instructions in line with the bids.
- Drive and arrange bid clarification meetings, both domestically and internationally, as required.
- Collaborate with Proserv leadership and Sales teams throughout proposal duration, from opportunity identification and development of proposal strategy to proposal debrief.
- Provide required reports to management with status details.
- Involvement in continuous improvements to best practices and processes in line with the Commercial team and company requirements.
- Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by line management.
**Education**
Preferred
- Familiarity of delivery of bids/proposals and purchasing, including any documentation such as technical data sheets, bids/commercial/legal forms and bid/proposal processes and procedures.
**Experience**
Essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record within a Control Systems environment
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Interpersonal skills
Preferred
- Knowledge of AX12, CRM systems
- Commercial Awareness
- Purchasing
